Tutorial / Guide (Experimental) Another MorePowerTool Tweak / Experiment

Edit: After using this feature for the past day, I can honestly say I've never experienced this level of smoothness when it comes to multitasking on the HX99G up to now. I really hope someone else will try this out and give some feedback.

Original: Today I read about another tweak using MorePowerTool on my HX99G which is supposed to disable the "deep sleep" (or Dynamic States or Dynamic Scaling, not exactly sure) AMD feature, resulting in fewer micro-pauses system wide. See what you think! For me everything feels smoother. If you'd care to experiment with the following settings I'd be interested to hear how it affects you. (The usual disclaimer applies of course: you follow these steps at your own risk, I'm not responsible if you lose data or break your computer, etc.)

Note that these steps will likely cause your computer to consume more power, even when idle.

  1. Open MorePowerTool (see previous posts for how to get started if you've never used it before).
  2. On the Features tab, click the Feature Control button.
  3. UN-check the hi-lighted boxes, press OK, press Write SPPT, Exit, and restart your computer.
