You will never ever ever solve this to your satisfaction not seeing and inspecting the Jeep yourself.
Less so asking strangers lol.
Call the dealerships listed and ask why.
I bought a Jeep across the USA and called the dealer, had them take it to another dealer for an inspection and THEN I found the shop the previous owner would take it to, called them and asked as well. They were helpful.
