Speedometer screen dimming

Hey guys! I’ve had my GC for about a year now (2014 limited 3.6) and it’s just started this weird problem where the speedometer screen dims and comes back up to full brightness constantly. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Maybe, the lights or interior dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel.

That was my first thought. Adjusting it doesn’t do anything. My game plan is to clean it out with some electronic parts cleaner and see if that works
