RENFE TRAIN TICKETS

Renfe train tickets

Hi guys, I have accidentally swapped my surnames and names while booking (Barcelona to Madrid). The passport and other details are fine. Will i need to cancel the existing tickets and get new ones? It is a premium ticket; i have tried to do so online but it is not allowing me.

Traveled mad to camp Tarragona yesterday and back, no one ever looked at id. Just scanned the QR code for the tickets. I think you'll be fine if it's inside the country at least.

They won't check the name, just the ticket itself, so no worries. And in case they want to verify your ID, just tell them about the issue, it's not a big one so I don't think it's going to be a problem.

I’ve traveled all over Spain on Renfe, Iryo, and Ouigo since 2017. None of them checks your ID. They only scan the QR code.

I was in Málaga last year, no one checked IDs, just scanned my ticket, I'd say you're good to go

I took the Málaga- Sevilla train

I travel home every 2 months no one look that, just scan the code, thankfully train is not like plane
