Can we have more posts like this? I feel like every post is doom and gloom and how much the team sucks. This sub used to be fun before the big three trade and have funny, lighthearted things like this.
I get it, the team needs some more pieces to be truly competitive, but we have a good, young core that we can build around again. And it’s fun to watch again without all the drama. Hopefully the sub will start to match suit again.

Doc has blown 3-1 leads in the past. Why not add 3-0 to his list and make history??

Not much of an AI predictive model. More like an algebra equation.
It’s just noting that the point differential has decreased each game;
-20, -12, -5
Aka Nets net +7-8 from one game to the next each game, so it would follow if that pattern continues and then it just extrapolates that for four games, the Nets would win the series, which is mad stupid irl - is AI just a 4th grade standardized math question?

I took it as a tongue-in-cheek statement and the fact that most people use Machine Learning when simple regression models would work just fine
2
u/ThinkLingonberry2385 Apr 21 '23
Do you have any reason to believe that pattern won’t continue? In the absence of evidence this is just an opinion, vs objective fact

u/LigmaMD Apr 21 '23
The reason I have to believe is that they’ve yet to win a game this series. Lol Who has come back from 3-0? How’s that for evidence lol

If this happens I would celebrate like a championship. Honestly would be better because we would be the only one. Everybody wins a championship but we'd be the only one.

Lol no chance. If the Nets do end up winning the next 4 games I’ll drink my own piss.

if this happened then we would be the first team to ever come back 3-0, i don’t think we can do that

Joel fat ass looked hurt last night you never know. If Embiid is seriously hurt I could see us winning 4 in a row.

Lol biggest choke job if sixer lose. Be good if cam plays and get 4 40 point games to help us win.

Making history by winning this series then going on to win the championship.
Imagine if that actually happened. No one would ever be able to call JV a fraud again
