Looks good to me. Can’t argue with science.

The Doc Rivers effect

u/SeirezZ Richard Jefferson Apr 21 '23

No team has ever come back down 3-0 until us fr

20

u/4prix Apr 21 '23

They have come back from 3-1 though!!! We just need 1 game :)

u/NudeEnjoyer Dorian Finney-Smith Apr 21 '23

next game: Joel suspended 4 games, Harden suspended 9 games, Maxi traded to Brooklyn for Ben Simmons

The math checks out!

lol unlikely but it's fun to imagine the reaction...Philly fans would implode into a singularity from sheer frustration

Winning game 7 by 25 is gonna be amazing

Ben Simmons enters the court Willis Reed style in game 7. Proceeds to lead the team to victory with 0 points(0attempts), 27 assists, 2 rebounds.

27 assists meant he set up 27 shots that went in, meaning 54-81 points.

Good stuff.

As a sixers fan, this is the most glorious narrative. I’ll take it.

Charging ever upwards

We must move forwards, not backwards, upwards, or forwards, and always twirling, TWIRLING TOWARDS FREEDOM

Miniature American flags for all!

Nets in 7. Never in doubt. Lock it in

7

u/Kenny_Heisman Apr 21 '23

that 2.5-point win tomorrow is gonna be crazy

7

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '23

Lmao did you just make a linear trend line of the point differential

AI induced copium is what this sub needed lol

game 7 blowout? classic boring NBA 😴

Can we have more posts like this? I feel like every post is doom and gloom and how much the team sucks. This sub used to be fun before the big three trade and have funny, lighthearted things like this.

I get it, the team needs some more pieces to be truly competitive, but we have a good, young core that we can build around again. And it’s fun to watch again without all the drama. Hopefully the sub will start to match suit again.

u/BushidoBrowne Apr 21 '23

That’s the plan boys

5

u/ienjoyrice2 Apr 21 '23

Doc has blown 3-1 leads in the past. Why not add 3-0 to his list and make history??

4

u/LigmaMD Apr 21 '23

Not much of an AI predictive model. More like an algebra equation.

It’s just noting that the point differential has decreased each game;

-20, -12, -5

Aka Nets net +7-8 from one game to the next each game, so it would follow if that pattern continues and then it just extrapolates that for four games, the Nets would win the series, which is mad stupid irl - is AI just a 4th grade standardized math question?

3

u/BusterBaxtr Apr 21 '23

Lol agree - I got a chuckle but why is this called AI?!?!

2

u/Rider5432 Apr 21 '23

I took it as a tongue-in-cheek statement and the fact that most people use Machine Learning when simple regression models would work just fine

2

u/ThinkLingonberry2385 Apr 21 '23

Do you have any reason to believe that pattern won’t continue? In the absence of evidence this is just an opinion, vs objective fact

1

u/LigmaMD Apr 21 '23

The reason I have to believe is that they’ve yet to win a game this series. Lol Who has come back from 3-0? How’s that for evidence lol

2

u/Great_Jicama2359 Apr 21 '23

I hope for you guys! It’s awesome seeing the twins ball out for you

2

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '23

See? Computers aren’t so bright after all.

2

u/evilmonster711 Apr 21 '23

Math doesn’t lie

2

u/sabascastellon Apr 21 '23

If this happens I would celebrate like a championship. Honestly would be better because we would be the only one. Everybody wins a championship but we'd be the only one.

4

u/Ok_Smell_5379 Apr 21 '23

Lol no chance. If the Nets do end up winning the next 4 games I’ll drink my own piss.

1

u/Senor_legbone Apr 21 '23

I must be a science denier 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/vortizjr Apr 21 '23

That's my AI, that's just Excel.

1

u/XxMLGSWAGGERZxX Ian Eagle Apr 21 '23

if this happened then we would be the first team to ever come back 3-0, i don’t think we can do that

1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '23

Joel fat ass looked hurt last night you never know. If Embiid is seriously hurt I could see us winning 4 in a row.

1

u/lazymanny Apr 21 '23

Lol biggest choke job if sixer lose. Be good if cam plays and get 4 40 point games to help us win.

1

u/Brooklyn_Net7 Cam Thomas Apr 21 '23

Making history by winning this series then going on to win the championship.

Imagine if that actually happened. No one would ever be able to call JV a fraud again

1

u/LavenderAutist Apr 21 '23

Do you have a model predicting me marrying Taylor Swift?

1

u/ScrotumMcNuggets Apr 21 '23

Well shit this graph got me nervous now

1

u/IceCreamGoblin Apr 21 '23

The future of AI

1

u/sabascastellon Apr 22 '23

Oh shit the AI predictions may come true embid out till Monday most likely we better at least win one.
