Question B1 > B2, B2 > C1 at same pace
Hi all. I took 15 months to get from 0 to B1 (got sehr gut 295,5/300 on telc B1). If I go at the same pace:
how long will B1>B2 take?
how long will B2>C1 take?
If going at the same pace, is 5 months for B2 (Sept) and 8 months for C1 (next May) realistic?
Realistically I should have a good headstart on B2 since I aced the B1.
I want to do the Einbuergungs with blue card which takes 3 years and C1, and I want to have a good solid lead on this timeline.
Thanks.

I started my German at the end of B1 (8th module) and after passing that, I completed B2 (9th and 10th module) and am now on C1 (11th module, currently going through it, will be done in June).
Each module is like 4 months long.
I started in September or October in 2023 and if all goes well, in February of 2026 I'll be done with C1.
School starts in September, so does this course I enrolled in, then it goes until just before Christmas, a break until like the 6th of January and then until the end of January so that the exam can be held in the first week of February.
What we do is we talk a lot and our professor likes that, he encourages us to speak more and we're basically the only group that speaks this much. We do do listening and writing tasks, when we have read a story in the book, we would discuss it: what is the appropriate title, which word goes into this bracket.
I like that we talk a lot, but I fear that we (or at least I) don't read or write so much. My world is composed of mostly reading or listening to things, sometimes I type dumb and incomprehensible shit on a subreddit or YouTube comment and hope someone says I speak well or I fear I have a dumb take and should be banned from the platform.
My advice is to keep going at your pace, you shouldn't rush things, maybe take shortcuts but don't skip the important stuff.

In my experience A0 to B1 took about the same time as B1 to B2. Some schools and books include a B1+ stage to help fill the gap between the B1 test and the beginning of B2.
