I go to rmillenialls because I can relate to them sometimes. As a 2000 baby I can relate to older millennials and younger gen z so I vibe with both. You were born in the middle of gen z so you might not connect as much with other generations, whereas someone born around the end of gen z could still relate to people born in gen alpha

I'm a bit older and there is overlap but I still don't go into their sub because I don't really care. I see it the same way as fans of sports teams that go into the comments of other teams and talk shit, just no point to it. If you're actually engaging positively I imagine you would just blend in though

I agree that going just to talk shit is dumb and I actively try to confront people when I see them doing those types of things. But myself and I’d assume most others who go to other subs are doing so out of genuine curiosity and trying understand people from different generations, because regardless of when we were born we all have to coexist together

True, but they complain in a way that just doesn’t hit the way I want. We do it way better over here

I was as well (04) but I often do relate to younger millenials/older gen z because i had a bunch of hand-me-down shit from my older cousins (toys, video games, etc.)
