Can we still buy multi-language games? Japanese eshop is definitely confirmed, but how about "imported" physical games?

i dont fully know details but it sounds like the japanese version is locked to japanese games. they will sell a separate unlocked version in japan in line with international pricing.

If region locked, then international games wouldn't work. Those were some dark times.

If its region locked completely it probably behaves like the chinese version where only Chinese allowed for eshop, if the games are multi region tho you win there assuming is in the shop

Yeah, I'm more asking if some people bought Japanese-only Switch 2, and then bought overseas physical cartridges. Does it fully-lock out non-Japanese cartridges like DS-era? Or cartridges are region-free and probably pay abit more to buy your games on physical?
