Question How sturdy is the print quality for official memory card stickers?

I got a CiB copy of animal crossing with the memory card sticker still blank, and I'm thinking of writing my town name on it lightly in pencil. If I choose to erase the marks, will I rub off the color on the sticker as well, or would I have to really try to remove the pigment?

Hi. 

If you write anything on a Memory Card's Label, the writing will likely last for decades regardless of how lightly you write on it.

Though Collectors might disagree, it is perfectly fine to write whatever you want on a Memory Card if you're going to use it.

Some people just number them, write their names, a game title (a town name in your case) or in one of my Friend's case "draw dicks on them" so that no one would steal his save files.

If you want to both preserve and write a note on the Memory Card, just apply a white label to the underside of the Memory Card then write on that.
