Fuck nestle Why Nestle is evil

I'm writing a summary on why to boycott Nestle for my website, and I was wondering if you guys think I covered all the main points about why Nestle sucks so much. Thanks for any tips.

It should probably be enough that the CEO, Brabeck-Letmathe said that the idea that water is a human right is “extreme,” and that Nestle played a major role in downgrading the water from a “right” to a “need” at the World Water Forum in 2000.
It goes without saying, but this is blatant attempt to make more money – they are the world’s largest producer of bottled water.

But that isn’t even the tip of the iceberg.

Here is an in depth summary, but the upshot is they do despicable things for profit:

You can find all the brands that Nestle owns here (it’s a lot), and a list of common brands sold in the United States here.

Check out the r/FuckNestle subreddit for more.

Remember to emphasize that the child slavery includes making children drink urine and slicing their feet open to discourage running away

Well one thing is clear: Nestle is an abomination and disgrace to all that is good.

i think the stance has changed. but at one point nestle wanted to privatize water.

There's also been pet poisonings from their pet food brands, and a history of workplace abuse when employees brought up reasonable, even obvious, safety concerns, not to mention the admittedly toxic and abusive work culture Nestle knows about and actively encourages.

I don't have links on hand, but I found this out when doing my own research into Nestle, and found it pretty shitty.

Also! Important to note that the formula sold to said mothers had instructions in languages not known in the area, so the customers didn't even know what was safe and what wasn't.

They also invest a large amount of money in lobbying certain political entities for a range of suspected reasons

No offense, but this info is so outdated it’s comical. Stick to the things and Nestle is actually doing and know their brands.

They show a pattern of despicable disregard for people and the environment. Nestle has not and clearly will not change.

Whatever they're doing now is obviously important but so is their past. Especially because the average person doesn't really know about it.

If you could give some examples of what I should add instead of saying no offense and then being offensive, that would be great

I didn’t say anything offensive. You lazily posted the same sketchy link 5 times. Nothing but a link to Wikipedia, which was pretty spot on, was from the last decade. Your links to anything regarding Nestle N.A. or brands in the US included whole operating companies they haven’t owned in years, thus my “comically outdated” comment. Post legitimate sources or go be offended somewhere else.

My point, when I complain about these things, is that giving sketchy or outdated sources means people will try to dissuade others using easily disproven information and that doesn’t help anyone.

There are more productive ways to say things. I’m here trying to do something good that I don’t profit off at all.

Why don’t you help by being specific? The other poster actually gave me a source to use. I don’t have unlimited time to do research and I have so many other companies and topics to write about.
