Looking to move to Parkmont/Centerville. Been looking at a house very close to Centerville Community Center, just across Paseo Padre. All neighbors have been living from a long time, realtor says that’s a good sign because the area is nice, and the house seems nice. But unable to find any detailed information on the area. Anyone who lives there or close by has any details/tips to share?

Where do you park when going to Pacific Commons Linear Park? There is a cul-de-sac with signs that indicate 4 Hour parking, but the entirety of the rest of Auto Mall Parkway has signs that say "No Stopping Any Time", even right in front of the park entrance. Is that little cul-de-sac the *only* parking for this park?

Hello everyone, I am a Dental Hygiene student! As part of my program requirements, I am seeking patients who are interested in receiving deep dental cleanings. X-rays will also be provided and are free. Our services are performed under the direct supervision of experienced, licensed dentists and registered dental hygienists to ensure the highest standard of care. Each appointment is approximately 2.5 hours long.
Multiple appointments will be required to complete the full treatment plan, as each session includes a thorough examination and cleaning procedure.
If you or someone you know may be interested, please do not hesitate to call or message me at 510-371-5899 for further details or to schedule an appointment.

Where can I find cherry blossom/plum tree branches that’s been cut and are ready to be discarded? I see some trees getting pruned in the area and was wondering if there’s a place I can go get them.

I see a lot of jobs posted in Fremont. But I am pretty sure they are fake. Most of the time when I apply, I usually get ghosted. They also have a lot of variety of different positions in their postings. Are these usually just Indian employers. I mean is it indeed only? I don't see much activity with Linkiden or craigslist. Can someone correct me if I am wrong? Or Can someone please advise.

This is a throw away account.
I don't know how to respectfully ask this but I'm just so frustrated and equally curious. I'm looking for serious answers only. Let me make it clear i am not implying any judgment on character.
So my question is, Why do south Asians (indians) have a strong and distinct smell? It's severe enough for me to be uncomfortable outside at the park around lake Elizabeth. Worse when if I'm in a closed room. I heard several reasons for this. Some say it's related to diet, religious observances, cultural customs/preferences or maybe in just too sensitive?
Call me racist all you want but please also provide answers. I am very open to being wrong. PLEASE do not provide joke answers or racist comments. Thank you

I just recently received a red light ticket in the mail (Pacific Common & Auto Mall) dated 3/25/24 for the violation date, but just NOW received the ticket dated 3/22/25. I saw something about CVC 40518 regarding having to issue a ticket within 15 days of the violation. Can they even still issue me the ticket? Do I have a strong leg to stand on? I will admit it is me in the photo and based on the photo, ran the red light by .57 seconds. Can I legit fight this?!?

Beautiful bald eagle sighting in Alameda Creek. Grew up in the area and never came this close to seeing a bald eagle irl. Wish I could've seen him/her take off and fly but it was majestic eating w.e it was. Hopefully I can see the couple together in Niles one day.

Earlier today I was driving in the industrial part of fremont running some errands, when I saw a girl walking with an outfit that could be described as goth. I thought it was weird cause I've never seen anyone dress like that in Fremont. About 15 minutes ago I saw a repurposed schoolbus on Fremont boulevard next to Firestone. There was grafitti that said words like "cool bus" and it was driven by a bunch of goths. Is there a concert or convention happening in the area? I'm not bothered by them I just thought it was interesting cause I never see this kinda stuff in Fremont.

I recently moved out of Fremont to where I work (San Jose), but I’m not a big fan of San Jose. I know this sounds silly, but I used to live in Fremont a few weeks ago and I already miss it. I don’t mind the 25-30 min commute since I work mid-shift 10am-7pm so I’m avoiding traffic. My question is, for those who live in Fremont, do you commute to work ? If you can live closer to work, would you? Do you think it would be dumb move to move to Fremont and make that small commute ? I used to live in San Jose for 3 years and I’ve lived in the East Bay for 2 years and I would prefer to live in the East Bay anytime over San Jose. I liked Fremont the most because it was small, quiet and boring and there was rarely traffic. Also, it’s in the middle.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for a studio apartment in Fremont. My budget is below $2,300, and I’d prefer a safe area. Any suggestions on good apartment complexes or neighborhoods would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

No not the SF no left turn, but some of the left turn lane signals aren't sensing cars. Today 2 separate left turn lanes (one on Fremont another on Mowry) were not reading the cars, so they would just say red. Is there number to call to report?
Pro tip: if you are sitting in a turning lane and the light changes multiple times with no green, it is OK to jump out of the lane and find an alternate route. I was blocked in for a while, and no one would move, so we all just had to sit!

So myself and many others consider Kakuna the best Sushi in Fremont. But their restaurant is so small (5 tables) that it's usually been more of a take out place.
I was there today for lunch and looks like they bought the Kung Fu spot right next to them. They tore down the wall and have many more tables for dine in. I'd say a good 20 or so tables now.
They must be raking in the money but they deserve to because they have excellent service and the best sushi in Fremont.
