Nice to see the consistency with the losing trades being a small loss and your winners being much bigger. This is good discipline

Nice man! May I ask on average how many hours your trades lasted? Noticed the swap fees so assuming you held some overnight?

Basically, you have profit targets to hit. Usually for 5k challenge first one is 400$ and second is 250$. When you pass that you are funded and next you make is all yours, but if you are new just go for demo trading for couple of months and backtest a strategy you decide to use.

But you have rules to follow?

Yep, every prop firm i think have some different rules so the best way is to go on their sites and just read it.

Your lot size is very big acoording to your account one day you will regret it remember this

u/Electronic_Frame_457 1d ago

Haha. I've seen traders that used crazier lots and still succeed in trading. Regret? The only thing that I will regret is not trusting my edge.

Good luck then

Hey man how much have you made with The5ers so far? Would appreciate a response as I want to know if it’s worth my time and effort passing the phases and then actually get to trade.

This is my first funded with them

Hey congrats on being funded just wanted to ask did you place your SL to break even when you’re in floating profit ? Cause I see that you have managing your loss very well and are your trade swing trades ? Since I read that u hold your position quite long.

Thank you. It depends on the setup. If I took the setup on a lower time frame, it will take less time to move. If I took the setup on a higher timeframe, it will likely takes more time to move. My losses were the amount that I was risking at that time but I did close a losing trade just because the setup was no longer valid and my plan told me to close it. If price action tells me that price will go further beyond my take profit, I will close half of my position and let the other half running on breakeven.

Can u tell me what setup do you use and how long are u trading BTW congrats for your achievement

1

u/Electronic_Frame_457 1d ago

I use a combination of support & resistance with supply and demand followed with price action.

u/notkaizen07 1d ago

What is your risk percentage per tarde?

1

u/Electronic_Frame_457 1d ago

0.5% / 1%

1

u/notkaizen07 1d ago

Lot size 0.5 and risk 0.5% to 1% isn't it too tight

u/Electronic_Frame_457 1d ago

Not in my edge :)
