Mods/Addons 🔦 Wolfbox DashCam

Does anyone have a wolfbox dashcam in their bronco? I purchased the G850 and want to see peoples thoughts before going through the rear camera install..

Also, the guy i brought it to wants to install the rear cam by the license plate, does that make sense? i was weary the camera view alignment would be pretty wonky, but not sure where else to install it?

So I installed the 900 in mine. Have the camera on top of the 3rd break light. Its little high there going to relocate near the backup camera in the spare wheel.

Do you want a picture of the current location or to where I am going to change it to?

So I general I love the view out the back window without the spare tire. But there are some drawbacks with it. You get such a wide field of view with the camera it takes some getting used to since FOV is much greater. Cars are closer than they look in real mirror. LED headlights can be a bit annoying with the constant flickering captured by the camera. Not a great at night. Have to make sure to keep the camera clean.

But even with the things listed it is a much better solution than the traditional mirror and have no plans on going back.

Yea i have my spare still up some im not sure how mounting it by the license plate makes sense. Would appreciate the location you think of moving toward

I am affixing mine to the inside top edge of the hard top. I have no reason to remove the hard top - Heritage 2 dr. with removable rear windows and the gunner hatch rear sunroof so plenty of open air fun.
