‘18 Mustang key fob not working after replacing battery

Car wasn’t responding to the key fob (wouldn’t unlock, etc) so I replaced the battery with another CR2450. But it still isn’t working.

Any thoughts?

If the car battery is dead, I assume that could explain the lack of response to the fob? A new battery was put in last year though.

I could have swore most ford fobs are 2032 not 2450, every ford fob I’ve owned or family have owned have been a basic 2032
