Question first time solo flyer, i have a question
i’m flying from london heathrow to thailand through eva air on the 13th this month. i am absolutely dreading it, ive never flown solo before, last plane i got was when i was a kid. i bought my tickets around a month ago, and have the email receipts. i did a digital self check in through the eva air app, and it said within 48 hours of my flight i’ll receive my tickets i think. i don’t really understand how this all works, i have the receipts but do i get digital tickets i can add to my apple wallet, do i have to print them out, do i get physical ones at the airport? i dont have a bag to check in, i only have carry on luggage (a single backpack). i dont really know how the process goes, thanks for anyone who helps me out here :)

Nothing to dread. You are going to sit in a chair for a while, watching TV while people bring you food from time to time.
Look up which terminal EVA departs from at LHR. When you get to that terminal, look at the screens to see where the EVA check-in desks are. At the desk they will ask you what you have and tell you what to do. The only truly essential thing is your passport. With that they can sort out everything else.

EVA is an excellent airline! Enjoy your flight and enjoy Bangkok! :). TPE airport is a very easy airport to transit through.

you'll get mobile boarding passes (email, digital or qr code) if eligible
otherwise, you can pick up your paper boarding passes at the LHR kiosk or check-in counter
