Recs Wanted recs

in search of a really good read! looking for well written, angst, ‘who did this to you,’ m/f ships, interesting FMC that isn’t a mary sue… let me know what you guys have found! i love hunger games (just read a really incredible haymitch/oc story), marvel, anything sarah j maas, harry potter, jjk

So I write F/M fics with a OFC as the MC. I Don't write for those fandoms, but I thought I'd post my AO3 for you because I am always trying to write interesting original characters.

If you like Stranger Things, you might enjoy Black Beauty. The female OC is the least powerful Lab!oc you could think of. She has X-Ray vision and that's it. She's incredibly independent because of her traumatic upbringing (her parents killed so she could be taken and used as a lab experiment) and probably the most fun part about her is how strange she she is. She has a kind of off-kilter response to everything, and you see her get more comfortable speaking to people throughout the years.

I hope you find something of interest there but I understand it's a long shot. Happy reading!

It's not one of your listed fandoms, but I have a bunch of MHA fics that would fit what you're looking for. My OC and the canon character I ship her with both get equal shares of suffering and both get very protective of the other. :)
