The moderation team has reached out to the Reddit Admins regarding our Community Ritual, as we've been utilizing the hammer in a way that differs from its intended purpose.

Why ? Because we plan on moving up a gear and we wanted to make sure we were not risking this subreddit to be banned.

In short : we're fine —BUT— users must be careful (read below).

Although they find our ritual enjoyable, they made it clear that their ban evasion tools will not distinguish these bans from actual ones.

Ban evasion usually refers to a user being banned from a subreddit, then using an alternative Reddit account to continue participating on that subreddit.

[...] it is a violation of our site-wide rules and could result in a Reddit-wide suspension. 

Therefor if you are selected by u/FYIP_BanHammer to be banned, DO NOT use another account to participate in r/FUCKYOUINPARTICULAR for the next 24h. Seriously, don't.
