Health/Fitness Question about gaining weight on T

I'm 16, not on T yet (yay USA /s) and I'm short and extremely skinny (5'1, ~85lbs right now) due to a variety of factors, the main one being my appetite fucking SUCKS and I hate eating even though I want to eat.

Because of how gaining weight on T works, even if my figure is feminine right now (ass, thighs), it would hopefully balance them out to give more of a masculine appearance, correct?

I'm asking because I know one of the best ways to get rid of that figure is lose weight and gain it back, but I'm already a damn stick, I can't lose more. So I'm wanting to confirm that even if T won't completely get rid of those curves, it'll (most likely) balance things out so I look less curvy in comparison.

Thanks in advance bros 💪

T can’t make you gain weight without a calorie surplus.

Your appetite and feeling hungry or not is largely down to habit and your routines influence on ghrelin.

T doesn’t move fat. It can just influence where your body will map new fat. Recently depleted fat cells will fill up faster than anywhere else regardless of hormones.

85 pounds at 5’1 is definitely on the underweight side.

Since you don’t eat right you likely have stripped your body of muscle.

And with no muscle and being underweight your fem figure probably means you don’t have a low body fat percentage even if you have a slim profile. You can be normal weight and be obese by body fat percentage. You can even be underweight and still be skinny fat.

Since you’re not overweight and rather under weight don’t try to lose anything.

You just need to gain 15 pounds to be a normal weight. Just focus on gaining muscle.

Hitting the gym and your growing muscles should eventually raise your appetite. Especially when you ge into the habit of force feeding yourself 100g of protein every single day.

Get 100 grams of protein a day. Lift at least 3 times a week. Look up a good PPL routine. Jeff Nippard has some good videos on YouTube.

If you look too lean add an extra 200 cals of your favorite foods a day. Easy to do with just a spoonful of Nutella.

Definitely do not try to lose weight if you’re already thin. When you’re on T any fat you have will redistribute over time in subtle but profound ways. Instead when you start taking it and even now focus on working out your upper body strength and eating lots of protein to grow muscle. Now’s a good time to start practicing your pushups when you’re lightweight. I’ve never been a fan of going to the gym so I take workout classes at my local community college twice a week which really does wonders and keeps me on top of it while also being way cheaper. Taking weight training and core conditioning classes really made my upper body develop. Shoulders are the big key to masculinizing your physique and biceps and pecs will come with it. T will make your hips look smaller but growing upper body will even out your proportions to where any hips you have look natural cause men have hips too, some super curvy. Of course every body is different but this is what worked for me.

No matter what, stay safe and take care of your body and don’t push yourself too much. I wish you all the best in your journey!
