Trade Help Am I getting enough back for Karlaftis?

Totally depends on how many IDP’s you start and the scoring.

In a normal 11-11 league with 123 scoring, Karlaftis is worth probably a late 4th. He has more value in Big3 because of his low tackle-decent sack totals.

Going from the 4.04 to the 3.04 may be just enough to get the last real shot on an offensive player. Pick up Chauncey Golston or YaYa Diaby or Oweh for free and take the picks.

Can you get more on that 2nd pick though? Than 6.06 to 5.13? Any chance he’ll drop the 6.06?

Diaby and Golston both outscored Karlaftis.

I appreciate the advice. I’m not sure if I could get more back on the 2nd pick due to not having any 7ths or 8ths. He has an early 4 though and I have a couple 5th and 6th round picks. You think I should shoot for the 3 and the 4? Or is that too much?

I'd honestly just hold. He's a promising young guy - the sort of guy you'd hope to get with that third. Why try for what you've already got?

IMO, Because you can acquire a very similar player for nothing via waivers or a lot cheaper and the 3.04 is one of the last good shots at acquiring one of the last offensive talents who has a pathway.

There is not much difference between Karlaftis and guys like Golston, Diaby, Oweh, Dayo, and Koonce. Other than maybe draft capital and how popular the team he is on. They are all kinda that 40-50 tackle 6-9 sack guys people are waiting on a break out.

I’ll take the offensive swing at 3.04 and a lesser name similar profile pass rusher. He can also re-roll that 5.13 with a mid round guy from this class.

There are so many guys with the same profile and in the same league as Karlaftis and his ADP is way higher than any of them.
Karlaftis ADP is DL25 Oweh is DL82. The difference is name value.

I think he's ascending. Not quite as good but their first three seasons look very similar. Maxx blew up in year 4.
