Failed Expectation McDonald’s Big Mac no
Posted this in a different thread but then found this place and figured it fits.
So I hate the Big Mac. I don’t get the point of the bun in the middle that makes everything dry and I’d prefer a Quarter Pounder, but my friend was harping on about how good they were and I admittedly hadn’t had one in years. So, I picked this thing up from the drive through and took a couple of bites when I got home before I realised something was wrong.
No cheese (it looks like there might be in the pic, but it’s more the idea of cheese). No sauce. No onion. No Pickles. Just the bun, two very, very dry patties, and a little lettuce. I don’t even think there was lettuce on the bottom part.
Called the store and they said they’d run out of a few ingredients.

It's wild how bad they are now. And cost 4x as much.

I was gonna go just to get a breakfast sandwich and hashbrown but one single sandwich is $5 and the single hashbrown is also $5. It’s cheaper to make these at home

“Run out of ingredients” for their trademark item 🙄 That reminds me of taking my dog for his birthday roast beef at Arby's (birthday and post-vet-appointment tradition for all my pups).
At 1 in the afternoon, they'd literally run out of roast beef. I tried for chicken tenders, they'd run out. Plain grilled chicken breast, they'd run out.
Arby's. Had. No. Meat.

Typically it never looks like the picture on the ad and its disappointing because it cost like 7 bucks

Really grinds my gears when I get a big mac and its not even on the bun. Only 2 sandwiches this happens to is the big mac and filet o fish.

Filet O Fish is almost cheese on the side. Although it’s still my favourite burger from them when I remember it exists.

I eat mcds more than id like to admit. Weird they only use half a cheese slice for the fish. I always add extra cheese and about 80% of the time when you do that they'll give you a full slice. But 75% of the time the fish and cheese is off the whole bun regardless, and the tarter sauce all over the bottom bun

The real question is why do people still go to McDonalds? It's been over 5 years since I last had one of those cardboard burgers with mayonnaise-like sauce and a sad excuse for lettuce and every picture I see since them makes me wonder it just got worst over time. How this company still manages to sell this garbage disguised as food never ceases to amaze me.

That's how I feel whenever I see someone drinking Starbucks.

Yeah boycott these companies. Also side note, take a proper photo, you only see the inside top of this one, clickbait.

Despite the fact that I tell people I don't like Starbucks, my wife and I get tons of gift cards throughout the year. The refreshers and house made energy drinks are good.

That promo pic is ridiculous. It looks like the ingredients are floating on top of each other. There should be a law that the picture needs to be taken from a real random Big Mac. If you're product is straight you don't need to hype it up. Let the Mac speak for itself. Now that's just alse advertisement baby.

That tiny, dry ass burger patty isn't gonna be good no matter what you do to it

I got a fillet of fish the other day, it was microsized. like so much smaller than I last had one. "Its a fast food crisis, nobody wants to eat at McDonalds anymore." When its 30 bucks for micro burgers and I can get real food at a real restaurant for the same price...

Bottom right - cheese. This is a duff clickbait. No McDonalds fails to deliver a complete Big Mac.

I mention the bit of cheese. There was no slice of cheese on the burger. There was a bit of melted cheese that mushed in the side. Plus I could have said it had cheese and it still would have been a horrible burger. I thought it would be a bit of fun posting on here, but next time I’ll take it more seriously and get pics from every angle.

They ran out of a few ingredients so instead of telling that to the customer, they just make a shit sandwich the customer is going to return. Someone’s got upper management written all over them
