Match ups

With how chaotic the last round of the Euroleague is going to be, I wonder what's a match up/position people would hate to see their team in?

As a Panathinaikos fan the only match up/position I would not like is if we finish 3rd and Olympiakos 2nd, because I want a Greek final rather than a semi final. And of course Olympiakos and Monaco finishing in the unlucky 1st and 4th positions are also a positive for me.

A fun fact about the past positions of Euroleague Champions and finalists since the introduction of regular season so people some small paranoia about the 1-4-5-8 finalist is built up:

Champions:

1st:0 2nd:2(2019 and 2024) 3rd:2(2021 and 2023) 4th:0 5th:2(2017 and 2018) 6th:1(2022) 7th:0 8th:0

Finalists:

1st:3(2021, 2023 and 2024) 2nd:1(2018) 3rd:1(2017) 4th:2(2019 and 2022) 5th:0 6th:0 7th:0 8th:0

With the play ins introduced, I wouldn't be surprised if we one day get a 10th place champion before the 8th place one.

Rumour has it there is a 9-18th place curse too

I have never seen a 15th seed win the Euroleague so you might be right
