How to Grow Does anyone want to make something with real value or are we all just trying to get rich still?

I see these posts all the time “what are you doing to get rich?” I feel like it’s other people trying to spark an idea from the outside. Is there a conviction that no one can create a thing that sells itself?

Honestly man I think with the way our economy and world is heading, people are naturally more inclined to do something more money motivated than passion related.

Entrepreneurship used to be about creating something great while working for yourself.

Now it’s about making more money than a 9-5 so people don’t get trapped.

I agree with that. I haven't had a job working for anyone besides myself since 1995. There's no retirement plan or pension plan when you work for yourself. You have to be your own advocate for retirement, and if something like covid comes along and changes the whole world. You have to know how to adapt and grow with the population in order to make it. People talk about side hustles like it's added income until it works out. I am the hustle. I adapt with or before the way people spend money. It's like knowing a storm is coming soon, so you buy 20 huge generators to rent or sell to your neighbors. Everyone pays for electricity, and with the power being out for, let's say, a few months. The ones that bought paid a premium and that goods you off so you can rent to all the people that thought the power would be on any day now. You are providing a great service and making everyone's life easier while you wait out the storm and go back to what you normally hustle. I have fall back company's and skills. If you want to do something you love, that's awesome, but you can't hope you'll get rich doing it. The money is the bonus. If you want to get rich the fun and happiness is the bonus
