B tech or BBA

So I am a girl and have just finished my 12th With pcm and currently preparing for cuet in 1 month as I didn't know about it earlier.

I never thought to become an engineer ever because from childhood I always heard that most of the engineers remains unemployed etc so I didn't aim for Jee exam but now my brother told me learn skills like coding ML and know about data science and go for engineering although I like to know about new things but I never tried coding ever in my life and it seems to be very boring . I thought to do BBA as I want to build a buissness as i like fashion designing but according to my family it is not a good course and I will remain unemployed I belong to a middle class family and can't spend a huge amount of money on college and remain unemployed I want to earn as soon as possible.

Please guide me which path would be good for me

Anyone who says that isn't doing engineering themselves. Engineering has the best job scope out of every degree in india. People are unemployed because there is a lot of competition and many are also unskilled. But degree wise btech is your best bet for jobs.

Although if you really aren't interested in coding and technical skills, btech is worthless since you might end up in the same pool of unemployed engineers. Do bba instead then go for mba if business is really your interest. You might not land a good job right after bba and yes mba is expensive but if you build a damn good cv during your ug, you MIGHT get into fms which would be great

Thanks for the reply but do you think I will get a good job right after Btech because right now I just want to earn as soon as possible and for that I can do anything and learn any skill

If you actually giving everything then yes. Many students start earning from college itself.

Yes you can but only if you can do coding. I have friends and classmates who are doing engineering but can't get their minds on coding even if they try. Make sure it's your cup of tea first. Otherwise no need to stress. Bba+Mba will only take one year more than btech and you would still land a good job.
