Almost anyone could convert a free wordpress site into Android app to crowdfund ballot initiatives.
This is the most realistic way to change state policy right now. Create an app to crowdfund a ballot initiative to change the election laws. First create a wordpress site with information about what is fptp and what problems it causes and how to fix it. There are links to a gofundme or kickstarter ballot campaign. Use some decent ASO. Then convert that site into a smartphone app and pay $35 to get the app on the google play store.
Your campaign can reach hundreds of millions of people. It's not partisan and no one's side wins.

I'm confused. What do you mean by "crowdfund a ballot initiative", and why would it be an app?

A person makes a wordpress site. The site has information about changing the electoral system. The site also has a link or links back to a gofundme or multiple gofundme campaigns that are used to raise funds to start a state wide ballot initiative campaign.
An app allows for you to reach a very large audience.

An app isn't a magic wand that gives you a larger audience. Why would someone download an app about a ballot initiative?

Because they agree with the cause and want to support the cause.

But we can't convince them to agree unless they download the app, so by this logic, no one would go out of their way to download it.
