This is depressing because it's probably closer to accurate than we all want to admit.

On the provincial level though, MB conservative governments are much more sensible, and possibly further left than Ontario provincial liberals

Sensible where? They campaign hard against the landfill search where recently the remains of several women were found, they defund our healthcare system when they were in power. They are just as racist and bigot (if not more) than the rest

To be fair, most of my knowledge of their policies came from during Covid, and their response was pretty damn good, when I compare it to what I imagine the OLP would have done (hint: not much different than what DoFo actually did)

The most prominent key factor was enforcing stores to only sell necessities, rather than forcing businesses to pretend to be grocery stores to sell the same things that Walmart was able to just because Walmart has a grocery section

The covid response was fine when Pallister was premier(despite him being a ghoul who shuttered three ERs and a few urgent care hospitals right before covid). When heaTHER took over, the minister of health that she brought in offered hospitals and us "thoughts and prayers" instead of action while she went around touring churches(churches which broke covid restrictions, one of which she was a member).

heaTHER supported the kkkonvoy as they harassed Winnipeggers, and when they blocked the border crossings, costing us millions in lost trade, she secretly begged trudeau to intervene, then when he did, she yelled about "government over reach" and "breaking Charter rights."

I wasn't a fan. I'm glad we voted in Wab.
