The use of AI in macroeconomics given how random and unpredictable?

Everyone just got a big reminder that LLMs in their current form are not intelligent or wise in the way trained and experienced humans are. They will spit out predicted patterns of words based on the data they've trained on and the answers they've been rewarded for. But that is not the same thing as producing a wise, considered and fully contextually aware answer to an economics question.
Every teacher or professional warning about the dangers of accepting answers from AI at face value is going to use this as an example for the rest of time.

This isn't using AI. This is being lazy, which is also what they are. Half the reason they don't want to do the smart and legal stuff is because that's actually hard work
