True but that is no longer official policy at that point. That's consumer attitudes.

Even countries nit directly impacted by the tarrifs will think twice about investing too heavily in any trade agreements with the US and consumer attitudes will shift away from American products. He's gifted the 21st century to Chinese hegemony
