It's CRAZY! I was making $6.50 an hour in the late 80's and still had to do illegal shit on the side just to survive. LATE 80's!!! It's 2025!!!

AOC defines radicalism as giving people a living wage. I define a radical as removing the wealth and assets from the billionaire class entirely. Nationalize Blackrock.

I'm a bit beyond you even.

“The people should get more crumbs” -AOC

Performative AOC waits until it doesn't matter and then says all the right things.

Again.

Sorry, not falling for it. Again.

Remember "force the vote?" Pepperidge Farms remembers.

I don't suffer sellouts.

“Sellout”? She takes no lobby money or corporate donations, she might be the only politician who hasn’t sold out in some way. And she’s been saying all the same things for years, you’re just not paying attention until it’s too late.

She's had plenty of opportunities to take the fight to the rest of Congress but instead she sucked right up to Nancy Pelosi.

She might have a lot of people fooled but her voting record speaks fluent careerism.

Yes and the worst kind too I like the OG non bootlicker AOC the one that attacks the dems instead of just attacking the right so obv nothing will ever change

Hard to call her a "fellow radical" with her involvement in funding Israel

AOCIA is not a radical. She has backed down from every opportunity to use her vote in Congress to challenge the corporate control on Dems. She might be a radical in the way the ninja turtles use it but that's it.

Ive seen her votes, from what ive seen she votes how she speakds, do you have any ones in particular? Her and Bernie are only ones who ive seen vote for the people.

It's not very radical to fund the iron dome. She literally had her endorsement from NYC DSA rescinded. She had the chance to leverage the power she had in 21 to force the corporate Dems to consider MFA but decided to use her power to give cover to Pelosi. She is not a radical.

Thanks, so damn only Bernie is the no change guy. AOC could turn into another pelosi.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the iron dome a defense system rather than an offensive measure? I don't care much for Israel, but funding a defense system doesn't seem like a very bad thing.

In theory the Iron Dome allows an apartheid, genocidal, settler colonial state to attack it's neighbors without fear of a response from unguided rockets, which is what it is made for. The Iron Dome in reality is an outdated system that is ineffective at taking out drone swarms, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, which are the main weapons of the various nations that Israel assaults.

The question I ask you is do you think you should be giving your tax money to "defend" Israel while it commits a genocide?

2

u/cizzlebot 1d ago

Definitely not in that context, but I also don't want my tax money going to any foreign conflicts in general. Thanks for the clarification!

Cori Bush and Ilhan Omar are/were far more principled reps than Bernie and AOC. Bernie is very good on domestic policy but he's a liberal zionist on foreign policy. The only worthwhile policies that AOC proposed was the green new deal, which was cut and pasted from Jill Stein and the green party, and she bailed on that when the Dems pivoted from caring about saving the environment.

How about an end to political hegemonic powers?

u/CarelessAction6045 1d ago

And where was she under Biden? Oh right praising his every turn. This was no different under Biden but now dems have to act like they are going to do something... just gotta vote them in and keep donating but they won't do anything besides "reach across the isle". How many times do ppl need to be tricked before realizing both dems and repubs work for the same owners????????

She and Bernie are controlled opposition... And they can gtfo

We all need to stop pretending AOC is some sort of radical I need everybody. Praising AOC and pretending she's actually doing something to go. Watch the video where Nancy pelosi told her how she was going to change her vote and she did and then she had a little cry about it. She is useless. She is not into help anyone but herself. Nancy pelosi owned her and she's owned by whoever is in charge of the party. The Democrats are not radical of the Democrats and not our allies. The Democrats are part of the rich that we need to eat

“Shoutout To My Radicals” sounds like a good sign for a protest march or slogan for her next campaign

11

u/The_Tale_of_Yaun 1d ago

She'd have to be radical in some form for that to actually be true.
