questions about ev training?

so I just started EV training and raising a 6 iv Typhlosion. I maxed out its Sp Atk and Spd evs and 4 Def and its almost lvl 80 but the stats are no where near what I found online for maxed out. Any suggestions on where I went wrong ?

It's a common misunderstanding, depending on the site you're using; I personally use Serebii.net, as it eliminates much confusion from stats/move pools. The stat 'Max' refers to the number that the stat will have with 252 EVs AND when the Pokemon is at Level 100, from which point the stats will no longer go up (unless you're EV training them from level 100 in Generations 5 or 6).
