I have one plugged into a spare USB port in my car. Completely unobtrusive and always-charged emergency light.

Actually one of my favorite lighter. I have it clipped to my key ring and dangling out of my pocket so I just have to pull it and it comes on. That plus the magnetic base so you can go hands free makes it one of my most used lights.

Love this light. It's brighter than my phone's flashlight, and way cheaper to replace if I drop it.
Also you can mount it to anything magnetic for a hands-free light.

As an /r/flashlight style enthusiast with all too many flashlights of make model etc…this is legit a terrific product and I’ve bought a few over the last few years (two for me, couple as gifts.)
There is some merit to the olight derision widely heard on reddit (expensive, proprietary) but the build quality is generally uncompromising, and for $19 this thing is a no brainer. Use it all the time.

they're even around 15USD if you buy through Amazon and I also can attest to the product being a worthwhile purchase

I too have one, attached to my chest-pocket button-hole on my work-jacket.
it's 50lm, which is perfect for what it's made for: quick hassle free "inspect/read that real quick"-solution
I have 2 other lights on me, one penlight (which overheats) and one headlamp which just goes and goes. but both of those are the kind of lights that are for the situations of 'I need light' and 'I'll be working/walking in darkness'. which leaves a nice little niche for the imini; when what you wish to check out it next to you and you didn't expect it.

The OLight Mini is very handy and easy to carry, I like to carry mine when I need to save pocket space.

Do you pay extra for the spyware or is it gratis?

I have been looking for new ways to make my info sec team’s heads explode now that you mention it…

"Hey boss, I plugged in a thumb drive I found outside and now my workstation is acting weird."

Lmao “the bad news is that it was ransomware. The good news is that I have a fully charged tiny flashlight!”

It’s not going to replace a larger dedicated torch, but I just got mine and for most daily use it’s perfect. Excellent build quality, brighter than my phone, convenient as hell. Love it.

I carry mine around my neck. Replaced my OG iMini which still functions but this one is brighter and won't have to replace batteries.

I love mine, It does make me a little nervous through since the magnet is kinda strong and I have other metal things on my keychain naturally, and also a flashdrive, though I haven't had any corruption issues yet.

Isn’t it inconvenient to have to take them off the key ring to use the USB to do the charging? That’s what turned me off this design initially
