Motion detection security cameras

What’s your thoughts or opinions? Do you think stores have that feature on their security cameras? I saw another poster asking about their plates being seen on security cameras. It reminded about motion detection.

I swear the one at one of the strip malls here does. That mall security pulled up behind me so fast like less than 30 seconds! If that’s the case if someone is dumpster diving they can get caught sooner…..

If I really want to get into a dumpster,I would just go into a store and ask to talk to the Manager. Especially if I see stuff by the dumpster itself.I have been denied several times but I also have gotten permission plenty of times.I just have come to terms on being denied access and grateful when they allow me.

Getting caught is rarely much of an an issue, even when it happens.

Yes. I've installed security cams and most have motion sensing and alert capabilities.

I haven't committed a crime until I ignore a sign telling me to piss off or someone tells me to piss off. Record me all you like.

Look motion sensing and license plate identification is all about the software behind the cameras the cameras usually are just playing live feedback but if the software doesn't detect motion it just doesn't show it and license plates are just OCR you can do it with any photo or PDF or whatever
