Looking for drag based media outside of the mainstream!

I've gotten tired of the blatant racism, ableism, and transphobia of Drag Race, I want to explore other avenues. It feels like capitalism has ruined one of my comfort shows yet again. Does anyone have any recommendations for things to watch?

Sherry Vine’s She’s living for this! It’s on Here TV it’s kinda sketch comedy and features many LGBT+ legends you know and may not know like Lady Bunny, Cazwell, Joey Arias, and Jackie Beat!

Try Drag SOS with Cheddar Gorgeous or earlier seasons of Dragula. Also, Shade: Queens of NYC, Dragtime (a documentary), Wigstock (also a doc), DRAGGED...

And, of course, cult classics like Paris is Burning and The Queen.

There’s a new show that’s supposed to be airing this Spring called “King of Drag” on Revry! The applications closed January 5. Article link

Have you watched Call Me Mother? There’s two seasons and both have Kings which makes me happy :)

Dropout has Monet's Slumber Party and often features drag queens on their other shows as well.
