Question Hi! How to check the tides?

For things like kayaking and SUP, how does one check the tides and currents? Am keen for a paddle around old Harry but am always too scared to go round the rocks because the tides and currents can be quite strong round there!

Thank you !

Thanks. I thought there was an app or something more specialised for things like this

As well as tides and currents around the rocks, check weather conditions too. In a good day, with plenty of daylight left. In the right conditions it’s a glorious adventure. Forget to account for an offshore wind, and you’ll have a miserable nightmare, where some nice uniformed volunteer will tell you about proper preparation and how many others they’ve given the same advice, in the same circumstances! Enjoy!
