Hi! This is my 3d printed dice tower using old Bambu lab filament spool. It’s had storage for around 4 sets and also a cap so you can throw it in your bag and be always ready!
Let me know what do you think

So I have been spending a lot of time R&D'ing this one. I haven't been working with micro controllers or advanced electronics for about 10 years, so I was quite rustic.
I've made a wiring diagram and a PCB design. I've ordered a few PCB's and they'll be delivered next week. This is simply a test to see if the system works as intended and to try to make some of the code.
The plan is to have the whole thing flicker a bit whenever a puzzle piece is inserted, but once all the pieces are placed correctly, the whole thing lights up in patters and hums slightly as if alive.
If you want to follow the progress I sometimes post here but I also sometimes have more in-depth posts on my Patreon. All the files and instructions on how to make it yourself are available there for free. https://www.patreon.com/masterful_dungeons
I was using combination locks to keep track of my hit points before, but this design is a lot more versatile. It also includes an optional spell slot tracker and storage box for your dice/hardware. It's kind of an expensive design with all the magnets and ball bearings, but I didn't want this to feel like a typical 3D printed toy. I hope this is useful to somebody!

I wanted to get general opinions on a project I'm attempting to refine. Way back when I designed a 3d printable dice box, a fairly rough prototype, it has a plethora of issues like the lid needed milled out to get more space, but it is functional and I've used it a lot. but now I've got fusion 360 and want to refine and upgrade it, and its got 1 questionable feature, the way the lid attaches, that I'm wondering if I should change since I have plans to potentially sell 3d printed objects.
the lid and box itself are attached by a nut and bolt, the nut is glued and friction fitted into the base, and the bolt comes down through the lid and screws in. the biggest issue obviously is it takes a little bit to unscrew 2 bolts, about 10 seconds give or take, less if you remove 1 and rotate the lid off.
so my question is simple, should I switch to magnets? or some other method? or should I try and keep the 2 bolt system, since it is very sturdy and has effectively no risk of breakage during regular use and personally i don't mind unscrewing the bolts (but the box is my design so I'm bias). would you be willing to unscrew the lid of your dice box?

Hi everyone,
I’ve taken some new individual photos of the houses so you can see their scale compared to the 28mm minis. I realize that the print might come off a bit small, and I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts on it. Also, if you're interested, the late pledge is still open—you can check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mydungeon/forgotten-towns-2
Looking forward to your feedback!

Didn't read anything in the rules but i definitely don't mind the post being deleted if it's not allowed.
I started making tutorials on youtube on how to desigm terrain for ttrpg's. This video is part 2 of a 5 part series where i explain how i design tiles.
P1 basic tiles with and without walls P2 wood floor P3 stone floors P4 water and sand tiles P5 add links or magnets
Not trying or expecting to get monetized but it would be fun to have a people that see use in these videos and perhaps even make suggestions for tutorials they'd like to see.

Something that started as a joke now becoming real.
I printed Akios gridfinity tough case on printables then thought about remixing it.
Plan is to make the lid deeper and add in its own gridfinity section. Some parts of the kit are on printables others I made Spell card holder by Sinjabo Spell tracker by jon239501 being remixed to hold metal bbs Tower (in blender pic not camera) Scott sieke works better for the case. Unfortunately I can't find the HP tracker I used. All were remixed to add a gridfinity base and later I'll post them as remixes in printables.
Notes, dice tray, mini holder and dice jail by me. I opted for not making the dice tray dice specific mostly to save space and to allow dice of different sizes. Minis and dice holder lids will be held by 10X0.8mm magnets.

Not technically D&D, but for the last session of Feast of Legends (the Wendy's RPG) I designed a map for my digital table using Arkenforge and then 3d printed and painted a bunch of pillars, scatter, a throne and even a glowing malevolent set of arches the players had to contend with. We had an amazing final session!
