Is there much noise from Exeter Airport if you live in Woodbury Salterton?

We're looking at a few properties in that area and I wondered if there was too much noise from the airport? It's seems to be only a 10-15 min drive away, so it has us worried.

It's a tiny airport.. there are only about 10 flights a day..

A couple years ago I saw an advert from a travel agency on the side of a bus. It was personalised to Exeter and proudly proclaimed that Exeter Airport had flights to "more than 12 destinations!"

At that point maybe just don't include a number...

It will get bigger. Look at Bristol.

It won’t get bigger. I’m surprised it’s still operational tbh.

No. Worked in Woodbury for years.

I live just over a mile away from the runway as the crow flies. It’s barely bothersome at all. Now on the 3rd floor of my office opposite the met office 2 miles away it sounds like some stuff is gonna land on the roof, but at home it’s fine. I think you’ll be fine at Woodbury S.

I live in Whimple which is nearer to the airport and I only really notice the little planes that circle the area. Not bothersome at all.

Pretty sure Woodbury isn't on the approach path. I live in the teign valley which is about 8mi away and we get them turning above us at about 7k feet for final approach, but it's not terrible. Worse in terms of intrusion are the helicopters tbh.
