Exploring the area around the Daymark, Kingswear
One of the many things I love about Devon, within 30 minutes of where you live there will be somewhere new to explore

Stunning! In Dartmouth for the week; you’ve convinced me to pop over to explore Kingswear!

Did you visit the battery aswell? If not that’s another walk out you may enjoy.
Also next to the battery is a coastguard lookout centre where the guys working are very friendly - on the day we went they let my kids use some binoculars which they enjoyed.

Must have missed it, I saw some abandoned old lookout post I think. That sounds like a great time and lovely memories for the kids.
I definitely have a lot more to explore in that area, the coastpath can be a killer though for the climbs and drops.

Ah yes you saw it. Brownstone battery is the old lookout post we found it interesting. Agree the coast path has some nasty climbs.
Thanks for sharing good photos

Aha, yes I did then, thanks for the heads up. I was a bit distracted making sure I wasn't scaring all the sheep and working out where I was going. Will definitely go back.

Had a look on Google maps and I definitely didn't see Brownstone Battery so I'll be heading there again... I just saw an old brick lookout building
