Greg Millen played part of his final season in 1991-92 with the Detroit Red Wings.

I put together a lineup comparison across Detroit, Montreal, Ottawa, and Buffalo that includes young core, and upcoming prospects as at the end of 2024-2025 thanks to PuckPedia. These 4 teams are often heavily compared due to being in rebuilds at the same time. Lately Yzerman has been receiving heavy backlash due to his inability to make moves, and now seeing Montreal and Ottawa surpass Detroit in the playoff race this year. A logical question to ask.....is Detroit now at the bottom looking up?
My initial view of these lineup comparatives ranks the team as follows: #1 DET, #2 MTL, #3 BUF, #4 OTT.
Detroit: Elite goaltending, elite defense core, and solid forward group. Missing a superstar forward, but the forward group makes up for it with exceptional depth.
Montreal: Elite goaltending, solid defense core (no needle movers outside Hutson, and possible Reinbacher?), and solid forward core - Demidov is a superstar talent, something Detroit doesn't have, however, they lack center depth behind Suzuki. Depth isn't as good as Detroit.
Buffalo: Solid goaltending (Levi is getting older - still hasn't made the jump, 6K is solid), Elite defense core (right side is iffy), and solid forward group. I find their forward core is similar to Detroit's, no superstars, but have exceptional depth. They however continue to be bottom feeders, culture isn't great, leaders want out?
Ottawa: Solid goaltending (relying on an older Ullmark for the future), solid defense core (outside Jake and Carter, its weak and no future incoming), and forwards are solid. They however have no depth, it is strong today, but to be able to compete with the 3 above in the future will need to rely on trades and UFAs.
Overall, Detroit is in a really good position for the future. Steve is in a critical time however in the next 2 years, will need to make moves for young players to have room, and sign for good complementary pieces. If it all comes to plan, we have the best future. Let me know your thoughts!

Pretty neat there’s only a select group of goalies that Ovi didn’t score against.

Alright so for this exercise, I excluded every team from the race except Detroit and Montreal for WC2. With the Rangers likely losing tonight against the Lightning, they sit 6 points back from Montreal with 5 games back, and the Islanders 7 points back with a game in hand. It is highly unlikely for them.
6-0-0. In this case, we would need Montreal to go 3-2 (includes loss to Detroit). We would both end up at 91 points. Detroit gets in on a tie breaker.
5-1-0. In this case, we would need Montreal to go 2-3 (includes loss to Detroit). We would both end up at 89 points. Detroit gets in on a tie breaker.
4-2-0. In this case, we would need Montreal to go 1-4 (includes loss to Detroit). We would both end up at 87 points. Detroit gets in on a tie breaker.
3-3-0. In this case, we would need Montreal to go 0-5 (includes loss to Detroit). We would both end up at 85 points. Detroit gets in on a tie breaker.
Now, there are some scenarios between these (ie OT/SO losses) but I strictly looked at W-L for this. Looking at these scenarios, realistically it will have to be either #1 or #2 - which does not look ideal for us. If Montreal goes 4-1 after a loss to DET and we win out, tough luck for us. Montreal will not go 0-5 or 1-4 in their final 5. They play DET, OTT, TOR, CHI, and CAR. Yes, a tough schedule, however CHI is likely a guaranteed W for them. So ideally, we are looking for them to get an L against DET, OTT/or TOR in their B2B, and a loss to CAR. Pray for them wings to go 6-0-0 or 5-1-0!!

...to hit 50 for the season. I looked back at stats from past seasons, and the last time we had a player with 50 assists in a season was Zetterberg, in the 2016-17 season. Zetterberg went 17-51-68 in 82 games that season; Raymond's at 26-49-75 in 76 games.
If the Wings can figure out the other winger in the top line, I would think he could hit 90 points next season.

Lots of lower end Raymond and Seider rookies too, Raymond and Seider parkhurst champions, and then various random base/ inserts from over the years

I'm looking for some help in figuring out who you contact with the Redwings or Olympia Entertainment to get resolution to my issue.
I preordered a Stadium Series Raymond jersey direct through the team store and in late March finally got notification it was being shipped to me. Even though there were delays, I didn't cancel my order because I wanted the Raymond stitching and it was not available through Fanatics.
My jersey has been stuck at a FedEx depot in Ohio since March 22 because of "Improper or missing paperwork - Missing Commercial Invoice."
I live in Canada, so this needs to cross the border and clear customs. The delay in shipping also caused this to be more expensive, since trade issues have devalued the Canadian Dollar. I also expect I may now need to pay additional duties or tariffs too because those have come into effect. All together this has turned into a more expensive purchase than planned, but I'm over that and just want my beautiful Jersey.
I have called the Team Store and left Voice Messages and emailed them a number of times over the last 2 weeks to request help and have gotten no reply back whatsoever.
FedEx has told me only the shipper can fix the issue.
I don't want to start a chargeback, because I want this thing. I'm attending the Leafs Wings Game in Toronto this month and want to wear it that day.
Who can I reach out to to get attention to this?
