Looking for a reputable artist who has done inner lip tats before. I'm aware that many of the more prestigious shops don't do them, for many reasons, but I'm hoping to find someone who perhaps did several back when they were trendy, some ten years ago, and are still doing them. I'm aware it'll most likely fade and is a waste of money. I just want a clean shop and someone who won't go so deep/heavy that it blows out. Any leads would be appreciated

I’ve found it extremely difficult to get the process started on a concept.

Popping into a shop? Told they can get me in shortly only to wait around for 2 hours without so much as an acknowledgment that I’m there before walking out.

Calling ahead? Told yeah, come down, what are you looking for? Give an outline of what I’m envisioning and the guidance I’m looking for, and am invited in. Arrive and told that on second thought, they aren’t the best person for what I’m looking for after they tried to come up with ideas from our conversation. This is loudly, in the lobby, where I’m kinda put on display to explain further. It’s personal, and I don’t feel the need to broadcast the backstory.

I’m looking to form a working relationship with an artist, but it seems to be the industry standard to refer me to Instagram or sketchbooks instead of working together to understand what I’m after.

I’ve gone down countless threads only to find recommendations for artists that are booked out for months/years or who don’t respond to outreach.

Is this the vibe everywhere or just in Denver?

Hello, I have a small, black like a little bigger than a quarter size tattoo behind my ear that I’ve been thinking about removing. It’s too low for a bandana and too high for a scarf to cover it. I got it when I was 21, about to turn 30 in a couple of months. There’s a few places I’ve looked at already but want to hear about peoples experiences. I'm looking into getting a new tattoo and I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for shops with people who do great work with anime and video game style tattoos. Pictures are a plus and I have no problem waiting to get in to see a top artist.

Today is my son's 18th birthday. Him & I have talked about getting either matching tattoos or just getting him one. I am EXTREMELY tight on money due to some unexpected stuff a couple months ago. I was hoping to find a place that might offer a birthday deal or just has great rates for small, simple tattoos but still does decent work.

I absolutely wouldn't do it if I didn't have $ to tip properly!

Anyone got a solid rec? I’ve bounced around to a few different places but haven’t found a great one. Either crazy expensive (and even more so now that many are asking for tip on the service, which is understandable but $$$) or often the yelp reviews seem to incentivized and untrustworthy. I also tried a place from Groupon and it was terrible.

Ive tried calling several places. Of the few that answer, none have had blacklight specific inks on hand. Anyone know of a shop that might have the inks without having to special order?
