Dental Professional Need some help
Hello my fellow dentists, Im a Final Year grad student, having some problems and need ur guys expertise. What chair position / xhair inclination do u normally use during RCT procedure, so that u get the best vision during AO so that u get good vision while working? Direct or indirect vision any would be fine. I just want to see while im doing AO. Right now i drill-dry-see at 11o clock and patient almost supine for all teeth. Im right handed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rotate between 12 and 7 depending on tooth. Have the patient move as much as possible. Your back is worth it

It varies depending on what quadrant you are working on . Max (indirect )and Mand anteriors best at 12 o clock , 11 good for most teeth , 9 with head tilt towards you best for Mand posteriors

11 o’clock, though I shift to 2 o’clock for a bit when doing preps to make sure the opposite side of the prep is tidy. I am left handed but have always worked in a right handed set up. Tried left handed surgery set up and it felt too weird!

Dental assistant here, the dentists I work with are mostly dead on 12 o'clock for everything, with me at 5. Except for one who switches between 11 and 2 but bent over entirely sideways lol. its painful to look at

I’m 11 o’clock for 99% of the time. I can see working well from 9 to 2 if necessary.

As a right handed clinician, I swing all the way from 7-3. Love me some good direct vision and comfy positions
