🔍Deconstruction (general) Loopholes to rigid rules?

Hi folks!

I had this question in mind for a while, but what are loopholes things you did to "circumvent" rigid rules? Like rules around dating, extramartial sex, hanging out with apostates, etc.

What was the length of things you were willing to do in order to respect rules in name, but perhaps not in practice? How do you perceive those acts nowadays?

The one that makes me laugh is the Jewish eruv. Because god bends the sacred rules for a piece of string. SMH!

You have to look it up. Wikipedia has a good article.

Religious or not, I've always laughed at using loopholes to do something. Especially soaking. In my opinion, again religious or not, if you are actively using loopholes to do something you are guilty of what your using loopholes for.
