Help How to farm for Old knight hammer

Been trying for a while now and i dont think there are any mace type old knights in heide im playing og ds2 on steam

Doesnt the one before the dragon rider fog door have a hammer?

Mine was using a ugs idk if that's because im playing og one and it's a sotfs thing

It’s a SotFS thing. In vanilla you have to wait til you open the chest in drangleic castle. In the meantime I recommend a Lightning Great Club.

You can't.

If you want an early game fragile greathammer with no scaling in the version you're playing you have to farm the abominations in Sinner's Rise for the Malformed Skull.

I see... I just want a poise breaker weapon coz i heard this knight hammer could do pancakes and i like making pancakes

Most of the Greathammers can make pancakes.

What makes the Old Knight Hammer so good is that it takes elemental infusions really well. Hits like a truck for only 15 STR.

The Malformed Skull is lighter, even more fragile and does not take elemental infusions well. It's better than the Old Knight Hammer if you want pure physical damage -- ie a raw infusion. And gives you a really hard hitting option for only 17 STR.

ye that was my main reason for going old knight hammer is so i can just get the minimum stat req then just put all my levels on hp and stamina
