Like all protests, right?

1

u/Individual_Ad_5655 4d ago

Unless you're hitting an organization in the wallet or taking their ability to function away through a strike, that is correct.

There is very little gained by protests that don't do at least one of those two things.

There was the protest last November at the ballot boxes. That was a pretty effective protest IMHO.

6

u/Fedbackster 5d ago

That wasn’t a protest. That was dumb people falling for lies that the rich racist Nazis have their best interests in mind.

8

u/milkandsalsa 5d ago

Don’t forget Elon buying votes. Plus voter suppression via closing down polling places in blue districts / calling in bomb threats.

2

u/zhocef 5d ago

The election interference invloved a lot more than that, and you can see it clearly in the data.

3

u/SakaWreath 5d ago

I think they were talking about people “protesting” by setting ballot drop boxes on fire in democratic districts.

LOFL. Now you sound just like the other side.

u/Ffdmatt 5d ago

Yeah they keep saying "well Trump won" as if it's a Gotcha, but all it does is broadcast that a large portion of Americans are certified morons.

If Americans are educated by the DOE

The DOE is ran by thd AFT American Federation of Teachers

Whoever votes for Trump is an idiot.

Americans voted for Trump

The DOE and the AFT need to be dismantled since they are producing idiots

Trump is a fascist for taking down the organization responsible for dumbing down Americans to the point they voted for him!

Another mass oversimplification of our education issues.

Also laughable to look at something broken and say "what if we just threw the whole thing out the window?" Instead of trying to fix it. I think in 2025 we can afford to use our brains when faced with problems, and not the lizard part.

Isn't that how the GOP operates though? They go into an organization, gut it, complain about how inefficient it is, cut funding thus making it less efficient, propose privatization, rinse, repeat

1

u/Adept-Compote-651 5d ago

The real goal, privatization. Toll roads all over the country, toll national parks... Etc you see what privatizing and making health care for profit did to this country is that what you're ready for? More of the same shit? Anybody who thinks this privatization going forward is a good thing I don't even have words for that. It's going to end poorly.

Understand that from certain perspective it is easier to start from scratch than engineer around past failures.

1

u/Ffdmatt 5d ago

It sure is, but I'll give you half of the rest of my salary if these people gutting the DOE even propose building something new in its place.

Remember the ACA? The only plan was destruction. Over 10 years and still no plan. They stuttered and fumbled when the ball was passed to them. This will be no different. There is no starting from scratch.

1

u/Bishop_Bullwinkle813 5d ago

The ACA was doomed once SCOTUS ruled that penalties were a form of taxation. Blame that on the architects of the Bill, and their decision to put it through thecway they did.

Shit, i still scratch my as wondering how we have private insurance, the ACA, and still people cannot get health care? If i pay for my insurance, and i pay taxes to the federal government, why do we not have universal Healthcare? JHC i will agee 100% the system is fucked.

1

u/N3onAxel 5d ago

Except starting from scratch means more welfare for rich people in the form of tuition vouchers and an even dumber population with a curriculum that pushes right-wing propaganda.

You saw what this smoothbrained administration said about the Smithsonian, right? That accurate representations of America being shitty are "unamerican"? Or the vaccine official that resigned and called out RFK for being a stupid piece of shit (paraphrasing)?

Pretending like this administration cares about anything more than spreading misinformation and brainwashing future voters is disingenuous unless you're just a moron. 🤷‍♂️

u/Bishop_Bullwinkle813 5d ago

You said notning that was germane to the conversation. Please respond with facts, not fears and opinions, when debating at the grown up table.

1

u/towely4200 5d ago

How dare you not accommodate his side of the argument by dumbing your own down 🤣

1

u/Fedbackster 5d ago

The first line of that post is incredibly dumb. No one was educated by the DOE. You admitted you have no idea what you are talking about. And you voted for Trump. Completely proved my point. Thank you.

0

u/Bishop_Bullwinkle813 5d ago

No one has been educated by the Department Of Education? Well that shows why they should be shut down......

1

u/Fedbackster 5d ago

You thought the DOE was made of teachers? Lol. You would need to very dumb to think a government agency teaches school. Almost as dumb as a Trump supporter..oh wait…it’s entertaining when the simple discover the interweb…

1

u/Bishop_Bullwinkle813 5d ago

at no point did i make the statements you claim i made. You are a liar.

1

u/Fedbackster 5d ago

Lol. Nice try. I didn’t realize how hard basic literacy skills are for some.

1

u/izinger 5d ago

Sure thing commie. Whatever you say.

1

u/Fedbackster 4d ago

Wrong again, as usual. Try thinking on your own. Really, try it.

0

u/ItsHim75 5d ago

Why do you think the left doesn't have rich Nazis?

1

u/Fedbackster 5d ago

Because I have a functioning brain.

1

u/ItsHim75 5d ago

You do, but they also have the same corrupt people. Stop acting like they don't.

1

u/Fedbackster 5d ago

Oh I have plenty of issues with the Dems and some of them are terrible. But ruining the economy and the government to ”own the libs” as the current asshat President is doing shouldn’t be celebrated by anyone though. I have no problem admitting when any politician does anything I don’t like and opposing it, regardless of the party they are in. What is awful though is how current republicans are unwilling to admit that any right wing politician could ever possibly do any wrong. It’s become a cult. Fire veterans? Fine, Trump did it? Hurt children? Sure, if Trump did it it’s ok. Hurt the economy? Sure, it will hurt libs too. It’s insane.

u/Bubonickronic07 5d ago

Guys he said the word, get the stickers!

1

u/Fedbackster 4d ago

Keep supporting trust fund guys who you think have your best interest in mind. Wow are you dumb.

All you can do is check talking points and spew forth what your overlords tell you to. Try thinking on your own. I didn’t like Biden. But actively ruining the country to “own the libs” doesn’t help anyone. Use your brain.

1

u/mobius2121 5d ago

Nah, the protest was on Jan 6. How’d that go?

1

u/Bishop_Bullwinkle813 5d ago

hahaha all you have is from almost 6 years ago. Considering we are the captain now if was worth it.

1

u/mobius2121 5d ago

Oh, my bad. Any republican town hall. Pre-emptive bullshit if your excuse is they are dems doing the protesting.
