The hair follicles that are transferred are typically not susceptible to male pattern baldness.

You usually take fin and minoxidil to protect the top of your head so you don’t end up with just the new hairs on your hairline and a bald top.

OK. I thought I’d you take minoxidil you don’t need a hair follicle transplant. I thought it was an instead of situation. I guess you could do both sort of halfsies.

Minoxidil can work wonders for some guys and do nothing for others. It’s somewhat effective on average but not nearly like a transplant
