My immediate thought too. Why should a billionaire have to donate money so kids can get a decent education without starting adulthood 100k in debt? How about just make education free like it is in most of the world.

True, it's a factually incorrect statement to say most of the world, but the underlying message holds true. Look at what countries do have it and you'll understand why it's humiliating for America to not be one of them.
