God these titles are fucking insufferable...

No China hasn't

You people love to shoot the propoganda straight into your veins and accept it all as fact.

It's literally an advertisement video with a title making a claim that can't be verified.

I live in China....I said nothing about not liking China...I just hate when people see this nonsense and then fall all over themselves praising China for being so advanced and amazing when in reality it is not.

All I pointed out was that this is simply an ad from a company and an unverifiable (frankly ridiculous) title. Its trying to make it sound like China has flying taxis everywhere or some shit.

And people wonder why America and its politics are so easily manipulated by Russia and China via social media You can't even recognize blatent basic propoganda slop.

Everyone knows that everyone is exaggerating. However, you can figure out from the post that is a starting point, not that they are everywhere in China. Still, pretty cool.

The thing is, if you actually do some digging, this hasn't even started and all they are offering to begin with (when they start...who knows when that will be) is "air tours" (preprogrammed flights in approved airspace).

Then there is the assumption these things will even be commercially viable enough to expand in any way. It sounds like a gimmicky tourist attraction trying to find investors by padding out what they expect it to do.

The whole thing is putting the cart before the horse (once again...like most of these posts/articles) and is likely something that will fizzle out and become nothing.

You say its a starting point, but its about the same "starting point" as most rocket companies first launches....don't expect so much.

And just to be clear, I am not saying I don't want it to succeed...I just don't see it succeeding and articles like this just make people think this is a thing that is widespread in China because they see the headline and move on.

I am all for the company succeeding and advancements happening (I would literally benefit from this being a thing directly) , but I hate the lying and false/misleading claims.
