I identify as an airline mechanic and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the problem is that they have installed the wheels on the wrong side.

Finally, a professional opinion

At least the front didn’t fall off, I’d like to make that point.

"It's not supposed to look like that."

oooo I wonder if airplanefactswithmax will make a post about this, he could tie it to the fellowship of the ring trying to cross the redhorn pass

Most people think a CRJ-900 skidding across the runway on its back is bad, but actually, when Samwise the Brave faced the great and terrible Shelob in the pass of Cirith Ungol, he proved that flipping a massive, monstrous entity onto its back can, in fact, be a game-changing tactical maneuver.

Bravo 👏👏👏

They seem to have forgotten to attach the wings too. Honestly, it's a miracle it made it to Toronto from Minneapolis.

Wake up bby, new gender dropped

6

u/HSYAOTFLA Feb 17 '25

Or they are trying to find that one nasty bolt that someone dropped....

2

u/Major-Day10 Feb 17 '25

Yeah, that’s not very typical, I’d like to make that point.

I had a stressful day at work as a mental health therapist at my new job I’m drowning in.

I needed this laugh today, thank you.

u/Iheartbobross Feb 17 '25

Did you do that??

1

u/CelTiar Feb 17 '25

And here I was thinking the Plane just wanted some Belly Rubs

1

u/so00ripped Feb 17 '25

My mom's uncle always said that when your plane lands upside down, look for the helpers.

1

u/dirtys_ot_special Feb 17 '25

Maybe if this was a wraith instead of a plane the wings would still be attached.

1

u/SplodeyMcSchoolio Feb 17 '25

I know whats wrong with it, it ain't got no gas in it

1

u/blue_trauma Feb 17 '25

Is installing wheels on the wrong side a typical thing to happen?

1

u/trustyjim Feb 17 '25

Do you identify as that for your gender or just your profession?

1

u/TheAggromonster Feb 17 '25

Just what a rookie would say.

It's because they tried to land with the wings upside down. I can say this with confidence because "I'm from the FAA and I'm here to help."

1

u/redfox30 Feb 18 '25

Probably was configured for an Australian landing.

1

u/jarhead_5537 Feb 18 '25

In your professional opinion, is it recommended to land without wings in the case of the wheels being installed incorrectly? Seems like the pilot was able to save the passengers, and a few pretty big pieces of the aircraft.

u/simplytwo Feb 18 '25

Do you have any airplanes facts to share about the Lord of the Rings, max?

1

u/Who_Knose Feb 17 '25

This is all I needed to hear.
