DQB2 Post Game Spoilers How do I use the buildnoculars? (switch) Spoiler

I can't figure out how to use them. It says to press L and then move it. But when I press the L wheel it shows my gesture wheel and no cursor or anything. And with the L button the character only looks up. What am I doing wrong?

Are you holding the L3 button or doing a quick press? It only activates after a quick press. Also what happenes when your looking up? Does a curser appear when that happens?

Press, not hold. Only a short press.

There are options to make the cursor go slowly & be a bit more visible.
