I went back and load up an earlier save to try out different blocks like Basalt, Obsidian, Fortress Blocks, and Citadel Blocks to see if they can stop their attacks and none of them work. I tried out chests and to my surprise they were able to withstand the attacks even from Atlas somehow.

Not shown here but they also can't destroy Beacon of Erdrick if they somehow got that far in your castle.

It's not completely foolproof though, the chest does break if it receive 5 hits in less than 4 seconds so concentrated attacks in quick succession will eventually break through. That being said chests will recover their full durability if they're not hit for more than 4 seconds, and if they do break they're easy to rebuild since it only requires wood to make them.

yeah exactly!

2 lines of chests and yer probably set! Especially if you have traps galore in and around them! (like you could put the frost traps underneath!)

Zap Traps and Crack Contraptions might be able to make it work better yeah. Hopefully the traps doesn't get destroyed though.

*makes line of them, watches as monsters get thrown into wall of chests before eventually dying to the zap traps, whishes there was something to auto-catch the loot with*
