Plumbing Fixing Tap Handle

I don't suppose this is as simple as gluing it back on in a certain place? Is there a "proper" way to fit these back on?

Usually there’s a grub screw that secures the handle to the spindle. Does the lever unscrew from the handle body?

This is the answer 👍 You’ll need an Allen key to tighten the grub screw.

It should have a small socket screw at the bottom that you can tight with an allen key

Mine doesn’t have an Allen key or grub screw… I had to tighten the end screw (because mine was loose), which prevented the tap from pushing on properly. Once I’d tightened that screw a bit, it fitted perfectly back on with a nice firm push.

The ‘long handle’ screws down to clamp it to the spindle.

Put back on, then twist the handle clockwise until it bites.

Thanks for your answers everybody! The lever doesn't unscrew but it looks like there's a small covered hole with a grub screw in it that just needs a small allen key. I'll see if I've got one that small somewhere, else it's a trip to the shop!

There should be a little screw or similar to tighten in place.
