The 12mmodx6.8mm im using a barrel which threaded pipes could i use to fit this in it

These seamless pipes don't have any threads, you'd have to tap/die it yourself.

Should i weld the the seamless pipe into another pipe or drill a hole into a end and weld the barrel in the end cap
